First Meet
Our initial meeting, set in the bustling corridors of our school, brought together a senior in 11th grade and a 9th grader. The exact date remains a delightful mystery, wrapped in the spontaneity of fate. Our eyes met, forging an unspoken bond that defied the usual social boundaries. A smile exchanged, conversations commenced, and within those moments, a connection blossomed organically. Despite the lack of a formal introduction, we explored common interests and dreams, sparking the beginning of a cherished friendship. Little did we anticipate that this serendipitous encounter would mark the start of a beautiful journey of growth and camaraderie.
The Proposal
After contemplating my feelings, I mustered the courage to convey my affection for her through a mediator, seeking a pathway to express my emotions. Later, during our school's farewell day, amidst an atmosphere tinged with nostalgia and anticipation, I took a deep breath and directly professed my love for her. Time passed, and eventually, her response arrived, a tender acceptance of my feelings conveyed through the digital realm of Facebook. It was a pivotal moment, signaling the beginning of a shared journey filled with promise, love, and a future to explore together.

Our extraordinary 11-year love story began in February 2013, a journey marked by challenges and the absence of physical proximity. In the initial stages, communication was limited, devoid of meetings or calls. We endured the hardships of a long-distance relationship, facing numerous trials that tested our bond. The Reveal
The moment arrived when we courageously unveiled our concealed love to our respective parents and the world. She initiated the conversation with her family about our relationship, and I followed suit, discussing our love with my parents and relatives. As our love was finally out in the open, we decided to take the significant step of introducing her to my parents on September 3, an encounter filled with hope and excitement at her home.
Later, on September 17, her parents visited my home, where we openly shared our dreams and aspirations. Amidst joy and shared laughter, we collectively chose a date that would forever unite us—January 21, 2024—a day when our love would culminate in the beautiful bond of marriage, celebrating the journey we had navigated over 11 remarkable years.
